Primadonna is a music festival that blossoms as an exuberant celebration of hyperfemininity and the unapologetic embrace of girlhood in the Untermyer Gardens in Yonkers. The word 'primadonna' formally means the chief female lead singer of an opera, but is more widely used as slang for a 'diva'. The identity intricately mirrors the nuanced aspects of femininity—soft and delicate expressions are embodied through script typography, while the bold and powerful facets assert themselves with confidence through bold black sans serif typography.
